I created a set of 3 birthday cards which all feature different illustrations of ducks celebrating birthdays. This idea came to me after my professor suggested I do some “soul searching” to decide what I wanted to draw. This process resulted in me sketching a duck with a birthday hat and deciding that was what I needed to do. Ultimately, these cards were a fun chance for me to explore illustration’s application in product design in various forms including patterns.
